Aviation Safety Inspector (Air Carrier Avionics - APPM)

About the role

The Aviation Safety Inspector (Air Carrier Avionics – APPM) supports the Principal Performance Manager (PPM) for Avionics under Part 121 regulations. The role focuses on a segment of the airworthiness program, ensuring that avionics systems on air carriers meet safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of avionics equipment on air carrier aircraft.
• Perform surveillance activities to verify compliance with Part 121 airworthiness requirements.
• Issue certifications and approvals for air carriers, operators, agencies, airmen and designees.
• Document findings and maintain records in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

Required profile

• Knowledge of FAA Part 121 (or equivalent) airworthiness regulations.
• Experience with avionics systems in an airline or aviation maintenance environment.
• Ability to work independently as an assistant to the PPM.
