About the role

The Supervisory Aviation Safety Inspector leads a team within the Delegation & Resource Branch (AFG-970) to execute the agency's aviation safety mission. This position focuses on driving organizational change, building coalitions, and ensuring safety standards are consistently applied across operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate aviation safety inspections and compliance activities.
• Communicate safety objectives and foster collaborative change initiatives across the organization.
• Identify improvement opportunities and involve inspection teams in implementing best‑practice solutions.
• Manage resistance to change by applying proven change‑management techniques.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior inspectors and support staff.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in aviation safety oversight or a related regulatory environment.
