About the role
The Aviation Safety Inspector (GA Operations Instructor) is responsible for delivering training programs to flight standards inspectors and specialists. The role focuses on policies, procedures, and specialized aircraft courses covering airworthiness, surveillance, and certification of airmen, agencies, and general aviation operations.
Key responsibilities
- Design and conduct training programs for flight standards inspectors and related specialists.
- Provide instruction on aircraft airworthiness standards and surveillance techniques.
- Teach certification processes for airmen, agencies, and general aviation operators.
- Ensure training content aligns with current aviation regulations and best practices.
- Evaluate trainee performance and maintain training records.
Required profile
- Experience in aviation safety, airworthiness, or flight standards inspection.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing general aviation.
- Ability to develop and deliver instructional material to technical audiences.
- Strong communication skills for effective training delivery.
