Mental Health Therapist (1099 Contractor) – American Samoa

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates is expanding its provider network and seeks an independent, licensed mental health therapist to deliver culturally responsive, evidence‑based therapy to children, adults, couples and families in American Samoa. The role is a 1099 contractor position, allowing you to set your own schedule while receiving administrative and marketing support from Lyra.

Key responsibilities

• Provide in‑person, evidence‑based therapy (e.g., ACT, CBT, CPT, DBT) to individuals, couples, and families.
• Manage clinical risk and respond to crises as needed.
• Maintain measurement‑based care and promote skills practice throughout treatment.

Required profile

• Master’s or doctoral degree in a clinical field (MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC, PhD, PsyD).
• Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD or equivalent license with no disciplinary actions.
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to provide care in the Guam/American Samoa area.
• Office space suitable for client visits.
