Mental Health Therapist (1099 Contractor) – American Samoa

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates is seeking an independent, licensed mental health therapist to join its provider network on a 1099 contract basis in American Samoa. The role focuses on delivering culturally responsive, evidence‑based therapy to children, adults, couples, and families, primarily through in‑person sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual, couple, family, and group therapy using evidence‑based modalities such as CBT, ACT, CPT, and DBT.
• Conduct risk assessments and respond to clinical crises as needed.
• Maintain an office space in the Guam area to see clients in person.

Required profile

• Master’s or doctoral degree in a clinical field (MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC, PhD, PsyD).
• Unrestricted professional license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD) with no disciplinary history.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Required skills

• Proficiency in evidence‑based treatments (ACT, CBT, CPT, DBT) and measurement‑based care.
• Ability to manage risk and deliver crisis intervention.
