About the role
The Aviation Safety Inspector – Air Carrier Instructor is tasked with delivering comprehensive training programs for flight standards inspectors and specialists. This role focuses on policies, procedures, and specialized courses covering airworthiness, surveillance, and certification of aircraft, agencies, and air carriers.
Key responsibilities
- Design and conduct training sessions for flight standards personnel.
- Develop curriculum on aircraft airworthiness, surveillance techniques, and certification processes.
- Ensure training aligns with current aviation safety regulations and best practices.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to trainees within the AFB‑580 environment.
Required profile
- Experience in aviation safety inspection or related regulatory fields.
- Strong understanding of airworthiness standards and certification procedures.
- Ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Professional demeanor suitable for an instructional role within a federal aviation setting.
